When the target moves and the clock starts.
Dynamic Pistol is the bridge between static range work and applied shooting. You already know how to safely operate a pistol and hit a target standing still. Now we add motion, time pressure, multiple targets, and decisions.
Two days of structured drills built around the things that actually fail under stress: the draw, the reload, transitions, and the ability to keep thinking while moving. You will leave with a measurably different draw and a noticeably faster cycle from holster to first hit.
Who is this training for?
- Graduates of Pistol Fundamentals or equivalent — at least 6 months of solid range practice.
- Civilian shooters with their own legally owned pistol who want to push past static drills.
- Law enforcement individuals looking for structured private-sector skill development.
- Returning shooters with previous tactical training who want a serious tune-up.
What you'll learn
- Draw stroke under time pressure and from concealment
- Movement patterns: lateral, oblique, forward and rear
- Shooting on the move at multiple distances
- Target transitions and multiple-target engagement
- Reloads under stress — emergency, tactical, retention
- Malfunction clearance under load (Type 1/2/3 + double feed)
- Cover and concealment principles — practical, not theatrical
- Decision drills: shoot / no-shoot, target ID, threat priority
